BidRebel Fee Schedule
Version: 2.7 Effective Date: September 30, 2026 Last Updated: September 30, 2026
1. Purpose and Relationship to the Terms of Service
This Fee Schedule describes the fees BidRebel Inc. ("BidRebel") charges in connection with the BidRebel Platform. It is the "Fee Schedule" referenced in Section 6.5 of the BidRebel Terms of Service (the "Terms") and is incorporated into the Terms by reference. Capitalized terms used but not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms, including "Customer," "Contractor," "Awarded Contractor," "Project," "Held Funds," and "Platform Fee." The fee this Fee Schedule calls the "Transaction Fee" is the same customer-facing fee described in Section 6.5 of the Terms, and the "Bank Payment Discount" described in Section 3B is the same discount described in Sections 6.2 and 6.5 of the Terms.
In the event of a conflict between this Fee Schedule and the Terms as to how the Platform Fee or the Transaction Fee is charged, held, released, or refunded, the Terms govern, and this Fee Schedule is read to be consistent with them. This Fee Schedule does not change the payment architecture described in Section 6 of the Terms. Fees are subject to change on notice as described in Section 20 of the Terms.
2. Payment Architecture (Consistent With Terms Section 6)
The following is a plain-language summary of how fees fit into the payment flow described in Section 6 of the Terms. This summary is descriptive; the Terms control.
- Payments are processed by a licensed third-party payment processor engaged by BidRebel (the "Payment Processor") (Terms Section 6.1).
- When a Customer selects an Awarded Contractor, BidRebel charges the Customer the sum of the bid amount, the Platform Fee, the Transaction Fee, and any applicable tax, and holds that amount as Held Funds (Terms Section 6.2).
- The Platform Fee and the Transaction Fee are charged to the Customer on top of (in addition to) the bid amount. They are not deducted from the amount the Contractor receives. The Contractor receives the full bid amount on release (Terms Section 6.2).
- BidRebel collects the bid amount — and the Contractor-owed cancellation and no-show amounts in Sections 4 and 5 — from the Customer on the Contractor's behalf, as the Contractor's limited payment-collection agent (agent of payee), as described in Terms Section 6.2 and the Contractor Terms. The Platform Fee, the Transaction Fee, and the $4.99 processing charge are BidRebel's own charges and are not collected on the Contractor's behalf.
- The Platform Fee and the Transaction Fee are two separate fees. The Platform Fee is BidRebel's charge for facilitating the Platform. The Transaction Fee is a separate fee that helps cover BidRebel's cost of processing the Customer's payment. They are itemized separately so the Customer can see each one.
- A Customer who elects to pay by ACH direct debit from a bank account receives the Bank Payment Discount described in Section 3B, equal to 3% of the bid amount, shown as its own line item reducing the total. The Bank Payment Discount is a discount for choosing bank payment; it is not a surcharge on any other payment method (Section 3B).
- Before selection, the Customer is shown a single all-in total (the bid amount, the Platform Fee, the Transaction Fee, and any applicable tax combined), with the Platform Fee and the Transaction Fee itemized beneath that total, so the Customer sees the full price up front (Terms Sections 6.2 and 6.5, and Section 7 of this Fee Schedule).
- The Platform Fee and the Transaction Fee are non-refundable on a Customer cancellation after selection, except as expressly stated in Terms Section 5.4 or as determined in a dispute under Terms Section 6.4. Where a dispute results in a partial refund of the bid amount, the Platform Fee and the Transaction Fee are each refunded in the same proportion (Terms Sections 6.4 through 6.6).
3. Platform Fee
Who pays. The Platform Fee is paid by the Customer.
When charged. The Platform Fee is charged at the time the Customer selects the Awarded Contractor, in addition to the bid amount, and is held as part of the Held Funds until the bid amount is released under Terms Section 6.3.
How the Platform Fee is calculated. The Platform Fee is 15% of the bid amount for the Project, capped at a maximum of $199.00. The 15% rate applies up to the point where 15% of the bid amount equals $199.00, which occurs at a bid amount of about $1,326.67 (15% x $1,326.67 = $199.00). Above that bid amount, the Platform Fee is a flat $199.00, and the effective percentage the Platform Fee represents declines as the bid amount grows. The Platform Fee is charged to the Customer on top of (in addition to) the bid amount, is included in the single all-in total displayed before selection and itemized beneath it, and is non-refundable except as expressly provided in Terms Sections 5.4 and 6.4, including the proportional refund of the Platform Fee on a partial bid refund.
Worked dollar examples appear in Section 6.
Base on which the fee is calculated. The Platform Fee is calculated on the bid amount only. The Transaction Fee and any applicable tax are not part of the base used to calculate the Platform Fee. Applicable tax is shown as its own separate line item (Terms Section 6.2).
Bid amount range. Bid amounts on the Platform have a minimum of $50 and no maximum. Because the smallest permitted bid is $50, the 15% Platform Fee is always at least $7.50, so no fixed dollar minimum fee is needed or applied. The $199.00 cap sets the maximum Platform Fee.
What the Contractor receives. The Contractor receives the full bid amount on release. The Platform Fee is BidRebel's consideration and is retained by BidRebel (Terms Section 6.2).
The Platform Fee is separate from the Transaction Fee. The Platform Fee (Section 3) and the Transaction Fee (Section 3A) are two different fees charged for two different reasons. The Platform Fee is BidRebel's charge for facilitating the Platform. The Transaction Fee helps cover BidRebel's cost of processing the Customer's payment. They are calculated separately, shown as separate line items, and are not the same fee.
3A. Transaction Fee
Who pays. The Transaction Fee is paid by the Customer.
When charged. The Transaction Fee is charged at the time the Customer selects the Awarded Contractor, in addition to the bid amount and the Platform Fee, on every transaction, and is held as part of the Held Funds until the bid amount is released under Terms Section 6.3.
How the Transaction Fee is calculated. The Transaction Fee is a fixed, uniform charge of 3% of the bid amount. The same 3% applies to every Customer on every transaction, regardless of the payment method the Customer uses (for example, credit card, debit card, or any other supported method). The Transaction Fee does not vary by card type, card brand, or any other characteristic of the Customer's payment method.
What the Transaction Fee is for. The Transaction Fee is a fee that helps cover BidRebel's cost of processing the Customer's payment. Accepting and processing payments on the Platform costs BidRebel money on every transaction. The Transaction Fee helps offset that cost. It is separate from the Platform Fee: the Platform Fee is BidRebel's charge for facilitating the Platform, and the Transaction Fee is a separate fee that goes toward BidRebel's payment-processing cost.
Uniform, and not tied to how the Customer pays. The Transaction Fee is a single, uniform 3% that BidRebel applies the same way to every Customer on every transaction. It is not a surcharge added because a Customer chooses to pay with a credit card, and it does not change based on the Customer's card type, card brand, or bank. A Customer who pays with a debit card, a credit card, or any other supported method pays the same 3%. The Transaction Fee is not a line-item pass-through of any payment processor's exact per-transaction cost; it is BidRebel's own uniform fee that helps cover BidRebel's cost of processing the payment. Separately, a Customer who elects to pay by ACH direct debit from a bank account receives the Bank Payment Discount described in Section 3B; the discount reduces the Customer's total but does not change the Transaction Fee itself, which is the same for every Customer.
Base on which the fee is calculated. The Transaction Fee is calculated on the bid amount only. The Platform Fee and any applicable tax are not part of the base used to calculate the Transaction Fee.
Refund treatment. The Transaction Fee is treated the same way as the Platform Fee on a refund. On a Customer cancellation, it is refunded in full as part of the refund of the amounts the Customer actually paid, less the cancellation charges, as provided in Terms Section 5.4 and Section 4 of this Fee Schedule. Where a dispute results in a refund of part of the bid amount, the Transaction Fee is refunded in the same proportion as the bid amount refunded, together with the proportional refund of the Platform Fee (Terms Sections 6.4 and 6.6) — the "proportional" concept applies only to those partial dispute outcomes. So if you receive a full refund of the bid amount in a dispute, you also receive a full refund of the Transaction Fee. Where the Customer received the Bank Payment Discount, refunds are calculated on the amounts the Customer actually paid: the proportional refund of the Transaction Fee and the proportional reversal of the Bank Payment Discount offset each other, so a Customer who paid by bank payment is refunded the amounts actually charged and is never refunded more than the Customer paid (Section 3B).
Not the same as the $4.99 cancellation processing charge. The Transaction Fee described in this Section 3A is charged once, at selection, on the initial transaction. It is a different charge from the separate $4.99 processing charge described in Section 4, which applies only when a Customer cancels a Project after Contractor Confirmation, or on a no-show. The two are never charged for the same event.
What the Contractor receives. The Transaction Fee is not paid to the Contractor. The Contractor receives the full bid amount on release. The Transaction Fee is BidRebel's consideration and is retained by BidRebel.
3B. Bank Payment Discount
What it is. The Bank Payment Discount is a discount BidRebel offers to a Customer who elects to pay for a transaction by ACH direct debit from a bank account (a "bank payment") instead of by card. The Bank Payment Discount is equal to 3% of the bid amount, the same amount as the Transaction Fee.
A discount, not a surcharge. The price displayed to every Customer before selection is the regular price and includes the Platform Fee and the Transaction Fee. The Bank Payment Discount reduces that regular price for Customers who choose bank payment. No payment method carries an added charge: a Customer who pays by credit card, debit card, or any other supported card method pays the regular price, and a Customer who pays by bank payment pays the regular price less the Bank Payment Discount. BidRebel does not impose a surcharge on any payment method.
Who receives it. The Bank Payment Discount applies only when the Customer completes payment by ACH direct debit from a bank account through the Platform's payment flow. It does not apply to payments made by credit card, debit card, prepaid card, or any other payment method.
When and how it is applied. The Bank Payment Discount is applied at the time the Customer selects the Awarded Contractor and chooses bank payment as the payment method. It is displayed as its own line item reducing the all-in total, so the Customer sees the regular price, the discount, and the discounted total before committing. The amount charged and held as Held Funds is the discounted total.
Effect on the Contractor. The Bank Payment Discount is funded entirely by BidRebel out of its own fees. It does not reduce the bid amount. The Contractor receives the full bid amount on release regardless of the payment method the Customer uses.
Effect on refunds and cancellations. Refunds, cancellation charges, and no-show charges are calculated on the amounts the Customer actually paid. Where the Customer received the Bank Payment Discount: on a cancellation or a Customer no-show without a reschedule, the Platform Fee and the Transaction Fee are refunded in full and the Bank Payment Discount is netted or reversed as needed, so the Customer is refunded what the Customer actually paid and no more; on a partial dispute resolution, the proportional refund of the fees under Section 3A and Terms Section 6.4 is netted against the proportional reversal of the Bank Payment Discount on the same basis. The 5% cancellation fee and the $20 no-show fee are calculated on the bid amount and are unaffected by the Bank Payment Discount.
Settlement timing. Bank payments settle on the timeline of the ACH network and may take several business days to clear. As described in Terms Section 6.3, release of the bid amount to the Contractor may be delayed until the Customer's payment has cleared and settled. In addition, because the Awarded Contractor is notified to begin the work once the Customer's payment has been received (Terms Section 6.2), choosing bank payment may delay the start of the work; the Customer is informed of this possible delay at checkout, and the Contractor may choose, at the Contractor's own discretion, to begin before the payment settles. If a bank payment fails or is returned, the Project is automatically paused and both parties are notified, and the Customer must promptly pay by another valid payment method, as described in Terms Section 6.2.
4. Cancellation Fees
This Section describes the cancellation fees referenced in Terms Section 5.4 (Changes, Cancellations, and No-Shows) and Terms Section 6.5. The cancellation charges in this Section are separate and distinct from the Transaction Fee in Section 3A. The Transaction Fee is charged at selection on the initial transaction; the cancellation charges in this Section apply only when a Customer cancels a Project after Contractor Confirmation, or on a no-show as described in Section 5. A single event never triggers both a cancellation-time charge and the Transaction Fee: the Transaction Fee is the at-selection charge (refunded in full on a cancellation, or proportionally on a partial dispute refund, under Section 3A), and the $4.99 processing charge is the separate cancellation-time charge described below.
Before an Awarded Contractor is selected: free. Cancelling a Project before the Customer selects an Awarded Contractor is always free. No fee of any kind applies (Terms Section 5.4).
After selection but before Contractor Confirmation: full refund, no fee. If the Customer cancels after selecting an Awarded Contractor but before Contractor Confirmation (the Awarded Contractor's affirmative confirmation through the Platform that the Contractor accepts the awarded Project and intends to proceed), the Customer receives a full refund of all amounts charged for the Project, and no cancellation fee and no $4.99 processing charge apply (Terms Section 5.4).
After Contractor Confirmation: a two-part charge. When a Customer cancels a Project after Contractor Confirmation, two amounts apply, regardless of how much advance notice the Customer gives:
- A cancellation fee of 5% of the bid amount, which is paid to the Awarded Contractor as compensation for the time the Contractor reserved for the work; and
- A separate $4.99 processing charge, paid by the Customer on top of the cancellation fee, which is retained by BidRebel. This $4.99 processing charge is the cancellation-specific charge; it is not the Transaction Fee described in Section 3A.
So, on a post-Contractor-Confirmation cancellation, the Customer pays 5% of the bid amount plus $4.99; the Awarded Contractor receives the 5%; and BidRebel keeps the $4.99. This single rate applies to every post-Contractor-Confirmation cancellation regardless of notice timing; there is no separate short-notice or long-notice tier.
How the fees are treated on a cancellation. On a post-Contractor-Confirmation cancellation, the Platform Fee and the Transaction Fee are refunded in full as part of the refund of the amounts the Customer actually paid; "proportional" refunds (Section 3A; Terms Section 6.4) apply only to dispute resolutions in which part of the bid amount is refunded, not to cancellations. The separate $4.99 processing charge is not the Transaction Fee and is not a second Transaction Fee; it is the cancellation-specific charge described above.
Where the Customer cancels before the bid amount has been released to the Contractor, the refund equals the amounts the Customer actually paid for the Project — the bid amount, the Platform Fee, the Transaction Fee, and any refundable tax, net of any Bank Payment Discount received — less the 5% cancellation fee and the $4.99 processing charge, made from the Held Funds under Terms Section 6.6. The Platform Fee and the Transaction Fee are refunded in full, any Bank Payment Discount is netted so the Customer is never refunded more than the Customer actually paid, and any refundable tax is handled according to applicable tax rules. Nothing in this Section limits a Customer's non-waivable rights under applicable state home-improvement or consumer-protection statutes, including any statutory right of rescission (Terms Section 5.4).
5. No-Show Fees
This Section describes fees that may apply when a Customer or a Contractor fails to appear for a scheduled appointment, consistent with Terms Section 5.4. A Customer no-show is recorded only after the Awarded Contractor has waited 15 minutes past the agreed scheduled start time and the Customer has failed to be available for the work. The 15-minute grace period is the recording trigger for a no-show. The Transaction Fee in Section 3A is charged at selection and is separate from the no-show charges in this Section; a no-show never triggers a second Transaction Fee.
Two branches apply to a Customer no-show, depending on whether the parties reschedule:
- No-show without a reschedule. Where the Customer is not available for the work at the agreed time, the Awarded Contractor has waited 15 minutes past the scheduled start, and the parties do not reschedule, the Customer pays: the 5% cancellation fee (paid to the Awarded Contractor), plus the $4.99 processing charge (retained by BidRebel), plus an additional flat $20 no-show fee (paid to the Awarded Contractor). The net cost to the Customer is 5% of the bid amount plus $4.99 plus $20. The Awarded Contractor receives the 5% and the $20; BidRebel keeps the $4.99. The Platform Fee and the Transaction Fee are refunded in full as part of the refund of the amounts actually paid, with any Bank Payment Discount netted so the Customer is never refunded more than the Customer actually paid (Section 3A; Terms Section 5.4).
- No-show with a reschedule. Where the Awarded Contractor and the Customer agree to reschedule the work to a new date, no cancellation fee and no $4.99 processing charge apply. Instead, a flat $20 no-show fee is added to the total bid amount and is paid to the Awarded Contractor. The net result is that the Customer pays the original bid amount plus $20, the Awarded Contractor receives the extra $20, and the job proceeds on the rescheduled date. The Transaction Fee charged at selection continues to apply to the transaction and is not re-charged on the reschedule.
- Contractor no-show. Where the Awarded Contractor fails to appear, the Customer receives, on cancellation or on the outcome of a dispute under Terms Section 6.4, a full refund of the amounts the Customer actually paid for the Project — the bid amount, the Platform Fee, the Transaction Fee, and any refundable tax — from the Held Funds, and no Customer cancellation fee, cancellation processing charge, or no-show fee applies (Terms Section 5.4). There is no dollar no-show fee charged to the Customer on the Contractor-no-show path. A Contractor no-show may result in an Accountability Notice (Terms Section 12).
A no-show always costs more than a plain cancellation. A no-show without a reschedule (5% + $4.99 + $20) is always more costly than a plain post-Contractor-Confirmation cancellation (5% + $4.99), because the $20 no-show fee is added on top of the same amounts a cancellation would carry. There is never a case in which failing to appear costs a Customer less than affirmatively cancelling in advance.
5A. Background Check Charge (Optional; Contractor-Paid)
BidRebel offers Contractors an optional Background Check administered by a third-party consumer reporting agency, leading to a Background Check Badge on the Contractor's profile when completed and cleared, as described in the Contractor Terms.
- Optional. The Background Check is not required to submit Bids. It is ordered by the Contractor at the Contractor's election.
- Who pays, and how much. The Background Check charge is paid by the Contractor, not the Customer. The price is displayed in the Platform before the Contractor commits to the order, and the amount charged is the displayed price — there are no additional or hidden amounts.
- When charged; refund treatment. The charge is made when the Contractor orders the Background Check and is non-refundable once the Background Check has been initiated, except where a refund is required by law.
- Not part of Customer pricing. The Background Check charge is separate from the Platform Fee, the Transaction Fee, and every Customer-facing amount in this Fee Schedule. It is never added to a Customer's all-in total and is never deducted from the bid amount a Contractor receives on a Project.
- Renewals. Where BidRebel conditions continued display of the Background Check Badge on periodic re-screening, each re-screening is charged at the price displayed at the time it is ordered.
6. Worked Dollar Examples
The following examples show how the fees in Sections 3 through 5 apply. Each example shows the all-in total the Customer sees at selection (bid amount + Platform Fee + Transaction Fee + any applicable tax), the Customer-pays figure, and the split of who receives what. Tax varies by transaction and is shown as its own line item outside the fee base; these examples state amounts before any applicable tax.
The Transaction Fee in each example is 3% of the bid amount, and the Platform Fee is 15% of the bid amount capped at $199.00.
Example A: $500 bid amount (below the platform-fee cap crossover).
- At selection: bid amount $500.00 + Platform Fee $75.00 (15% of $500, below the cap) + Transaction Fee $15.00 (3% of $500) + any applicable tax. The all-in total before tax is $590.00. The Platform Fee and the Transaction Fee are itemized beneath the total. The Contractor receives $500.00 on release; BidRebel keeps $75.00 + $15.00 = $90.00.
- Plain post-Contractor-Confirmation cancellation (Section 4): Customer pays 5% of $500 ($25.00) + $4.99 = $29.99, and the Transaction Fee ($15.00) and the Platform Fee ($75.00) are refunded in full as part of the refund of the amounts actually paid. The Contractor receives $25.00; BidRebel keeps $4.99.
- Proportional dispute refund illustration: a 50% dispute refund of this bid returns $250.00 of the bid amount, plus 50% of the Platform Fee ($37.50) and 50% of the Transaction Fee ($7.50), for a total refund of $295.00 before tax.
Example B: $1,327 bid amount (at the platform-fee cap crossover).
- At selection: bid amount $1,327.00 + Platform Fee $199.00 (15% of $1,327 is $199.05, which is at or just above the $199.00 cap, so the fee is the capped $199.00) + Transaction Fee $39.81 (3% of $1,327) + any applicable tax. The all-in total before tax is $1,565.81. The Platform Fee and the Transaction Fee are itemized beneath the total. The Contractor receives $1,327.00 on release; BidRebel keeps $199.00 + $39.81 = $238.81.
- Plain post-Contractor-Confirmation cancellation (Section 4): Customer pays 5% of $1,327 ($66.35) + $4.99 = $71.34, and the Transaction Fee ($39.81) and the Platform Fee ($199.00) are refunded in full as part of the refund of the amounts actually paid. The Contractor receives $66.35; BidRebel keeps $4.99.
- This example sits at the crossover: at and above a bid of about $1,326.67 the Platform Fee stops rising and stays at the flat $199.00 cap.
Example C: $5,000 bid amount (above the platform-fee cap crossover).
- At selection: bid amount $5,000.00 + Platform Fee $199.00 (15% would be $750.00, so the cap applies and the Platform Fee is the capped $199.00, not $750.00) + Transaction Fee $150.00 (3% of $5,000) + any applicable tax. The all-in total before tax is $5,349.00. The Platform Fee and the Transaction Fee are itemized beneath the total. The Contractor receives $5,000.00 on release; BidRebel keeps $199.00 + $150.00 = $349.00.
- Proportional dispute refund illustration (Section 3A; Terms Sections 6.4 and 6.6): a 50% dispute refund of this bid returns $2,500.00 of the bid amount, plus 50% of the capped Platform Fee ($99.50) and 50% of the Transaction Fee ($75.00), for a total refund of $2,674.50 before tax. Note that the proportional platform-fee refund is a proportion of the capped $199.00 fee (so 50% returns $99.50), not a proportion of an uncapped 15%.
- Plain post-Contractor-Confirmation cancellation (Section 4): Customer pays 5% of $5,000 ($250.00) + $4.99 = $254.99, and the Transaction Fee ($150.00) and the capped Platform Fee ($199.00) are refunded in full as part of the refund of the amounts actually paid. The Contractor receives $250.00; BidRebel keeps $4.99.
No-show illustrations (using the $500 bid from Example A).
- No-show without a reschedule (Section 5): Customer pays 5% of $500 ($25.00) + $4.99 + $20.00 = $49.99. The Contractor receives $25.00 + $20.00 = $45.00; BidRebel keeps $4.99. The Transaction Fee ($15.00) and the Platform Fee ($75.00) are refunded in full as part of the refund of the amounts actually paid.
- No-show with a reschedule (Section 5): Customer pays the $500.00 bid + $20.00 = $520.00 (plus the Platform Fee, the Transaction Fee, and any tax on the underlying job, as at selection). The Contractor receives $500.00 + $20.00 = $520.00 on release of the rescheduled Project; the job proceeds on the new date. No cancellation fee and no $4.99 apply, and the Transaction Fee is not re-charged.
In each example, a no-show without a reschedule costs the Customer more than a plain cancellation of the same bid, consistent with Section 5.
Bank Payment Discount in Examples B and C. The Bank Payment Discount works the same way at every bid amount: a Customer who pays by bank payment on Example B pays $1,565.81 less a $39.81 discount ($1,526.00 before tax), and on Example C pays $5,349.00 less a $150.00 discount ($5,199.00 before tax). In every case the Contractor receives the full bid amount on release, and refunds are calculated on the amounts the Customer actually paid (Section 3B). For example, on the $500.00 bid paid by bank payment, the Customer actually pays $575.00 before tax ($500.00 + $75.00 + $15.00 − $15.00 discount); a plain post-Contractor-Confirmation cancellation refunds $575.00 − $29.99 = $545.01, so the Customer's total cost is the same $29.99 as a card payer's.
7. How and Where Fees Are Displayed
Consistent with Terms Sections 6.2 and 6.5, BidRebel surfaces fees to the Customer as follows:
- A single all-in total up front. Before the Customer selects an Awarded Contractor, and at the selection and confirmation step, the Customer is shown one prominent all-in total equal to the bid amount plus the Platform Fee plus the Transaction Fee plus any applicable tax. The Platform Fee and the Transaction Fee are itemized as separate line items beneath that all-in total, so the Customer can see both the full price and its composition, including that the Platform Fee and the Transaction Fee are two separate fees, before committing. The headline price the Customer is shown is never the bare bid amount with the Platform Fee and the Transaction Fee added only at a later step.
- All-in framing. This all-in presentation is designed to show the Customer the full price, including all mandatory fees the Customer cannot avoid, up front, consistent with Minnesota's price-transparency requirements under the Minnesota Deceptive Trade Practices Act (Minn. Stat. § 325D.44) and similar price-transparency laws in other states. Government taxes are shown as a separate line item outside the all-in fee base, as those laws allow.
- Bank Payment Discount display. Where the Customer elects bank payment, the Bank Payment Discount is displayed as its own line item reducing the all-in total, so the Customer sees the regular price, the discount, and the discounted total before committing. The regular (undiscounted) all-in total is the advertised price; the discount only reduces it.
- In the selection and payment flow: at the moment of selection, the Customer authorizes a charge equal to the bid amount plus the Platform Fee plus the Transaction Fee, less any applicable Bank Payment Discount, plus any applicable tax, held as Held Funds (Terms Section 6.2).
- On receipts and records: on release of the bid amount (by confirmation, auto-release, or dispute outcome), a payment receipt or transaction summary is made available to the Customer and to the Contractor reflecting the bid amount, the Platform Fee, the Transaction Fee, and any tax (Terms Section 6.3).
- Cancellation, no-show, and other charges: where a cancellation fee, the $4.99 processing charge, or a no-show fee applies, the applicable amount and its basis are surfaced to the affected user in connection with the cancellation, reschedule, or no-show event.
8. Taxes
Any tax applicable to a Customer's transaction is displayed as a separate line item before selection and is not part of the Platform Fee or the Transaction Fee (Terms Sections 6.2 and 6.7). Tax is shown outside the all-in fee base. Contractors are solely responsible for their own taxes and for providing accurate taxpayer information required for payment processing and reporting (Terms Section 6.7).
9. Changes to This Fee Schedule
BidRebel may change this Fee Schedule on notice as described in Terms Section 20. A change to the fees described here is a change to Section 6 of the Terms for the purpose of the material-change provisions of Terms Section 20, and BidRebel will handle notice and, where required, re-acceptance accordingly. Changes do not apply retroactively to a Project for which the Customer has already selected an Awarded Contractor and been charged.
